Judy Hill
Judith Hill is Director of the Santa Barbara Committee on Foreign Relations. She is also the CEO of the Channel City Club of Santa Barbara which is celebrating its 65th Anniversary during 2011 and presents prominent speakers from around the globe who share their insights on the world around us - politics, international events, military, business, entertainment, religion, and sports - Santa Barbara’s “Window on the World.”
She is Past President of American Women for International Understanding and has participated in some of that organization’s Delegations to other countries, and has also welcomed AWIU’s foreign Grant recipients to the USA. Since 2008 she has co-chaired AWIU’s Annual Celebration to honor the U.S. Secretary of State’s International Women of Courage held each March at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
Previously Mrs. Hill was Assistant Vice President of Santa Barbara Bank & Trust and its first woman officer. She served as Charter Chairman of Santa Barbara- Ventura Counties Chapter of the National Association of Bank Women and later, the Western Regional Vice President. of NABW. She served as Santa Barbara County Chapter of the American Heart Association and later its Executive Director & Planned Giving Officer.
She has been President of the University Club of Santa Barbara, President of Santa Barbara County Federation of Republican Women’s Clubs, and for two years Chaired the Golden State Republican Women Leaders Forum held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. Other leadership positions in which she has served include President, Santa Barbara Chapter of Zonta International; Former Finance Committee Chairman, Board of Trustees and Endowment Committee of the First Methodist Church of Santa Barbara.
A Santa Barbara native, she attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, Berkeley and graduated from the School of Bank Marketing at the University of Colorado.
