Alfred J. Welsh

Alfred J. Welsh, of Counsel, practices in both the areas of personal injury/medical malpractice and international business law.  He assists U.S. companies establish business relationships in Europe and vice versa. He has also led a number of economic development commissions and trade missions.

Welsh holds law degrees from both the University of Kentucky and the Vrije Universiteit in Brussels, Belgium. He has extensive relationships throughout the diplomatic, legal, financial, and business communities of the Continent and Great Britain.  Having worked as a Congressional staff member, he has lobbied both at the national and state levels. Welsh is licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and is a member of the Virginia and American Bar Associations.

Welsh is a Knight of Kingdom of Belgium and serves as Belgian Consul to the Ohio Valley region of the U.S.  He appears in Who's Who in America.
