Carol P. Williams

Carol P. Williams, Arkansas Committee, migrated to Arkansas from Tennessee in 1967, and now calls Little Rock home.  She worked as an independent consultant for 21 years in international transactions, involving mergers & acquisitions and privatization.  Education: Economics and American Literature, University of Tennessee; Summer Research Scholar, Oxford University.  Short and protracted postings have been in Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany, UK, Tanzania, South Africa, Central and South America. Following an interest in conservation and sustainability, she is the founding Executive Director of the Land Trust of Arkansas.  Her present major project is a Comprehensive Conservation Valuation for the State of Arkansas that will serve as a replicable Sustainable Economic Model for other states and other countries.  She serves as Chair of the Board of Church Advocates of Lyon College, a Board Member of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce—South Central U.S., on the Outreach Ministry of Second Presbyterian Church-Little Rock, is a Life Member of Safari Club International.  She has traced her family to its migration from Normandy to the Isle of Jersey in 1351, then to Virginia in 1657.  Carol is an avid auto racing fan, having recently attended her 36th Indy 500, and enjoys skiing, hunting, and hiking.
