The ACFR NewsGroup

ACFR now provides its members with access to a daily distribution of important domestic and foreign newspaper and magazine articles, intelligence reports, analytical studies, opinion pieces, etc. This distribution is done by email only and is only available to ACFR members, speakers, and other friends of the organization. It is a private distribution that is sent at no cost to participants. As of the Fall of 2009, we estimate the NewsGroup's membership to exceed 9,000. Its reach is worldwide.

Materials provided to the ACFR NewsGroup come in single email messages. A table of contents is provided at the beginning of each daily email. Items are selected from a large volume of materials that arrive in our offices daily on the basis of significance, originality, timeliness, etc. No attempt is made to provide a balance of topics and viewpoints on any given day. NewsGroup members are encouraged to submit items they themselves come across that might conceivably be of interest to the entire group. Neither the Washington staff nor any member providing materials shall be regarded as responsible for content.

To subscribe, simply email Executive Director Kenneth M. Jensen (kjensen@acfr.org) providing your name, the name of the committee of which you are a member, and your email address. Should a member wish to be removed either temporarily or permanently, an email to that effect to Dr. Jensen will suffice.
